Rant: The REAL Episode I
Okay, for anyone who thought Episode COULD have been a good movie, here is your hope for the future.

This is a fan edit of Episode I, which removes all the horrible-ness (the badly lip-synched Neimodians, Jar-Jar's retarded personality, the fucking MEDICHLORIANS, and the overly-long and tedious podrace)

It also tightens up almost all of the dialogue and makes the movie MUCH more watchable.

Star Wars Episode I: Balance of the Force

This is the 'canon' I will be using to base my Episode II off of, because fuck if I don't hate medichlorians.

But possibly my favorite thing about this is how they 'fixed' Jar-Jar.  I wouldn't call him a good character, but he's not as unbelievably intolerable.  Plus, I absolutely LOVE the backstory they gave the Naboo and the Gungans, it makes the parade at the end MUCH more significant.  I actually got goosebumps!
